NANO Nuclear and Howden, a Baker Hughes Business, Advance Engineering Collaboration for the KRONOS MMR(TM) Primary Helium Circulator to Detailed Design Phase

Engineering milestone marks continued progress in the maturation of the KRONOS MMR(TM) toward commercial readiness

New York, New York – Newsfile Corp. – September 3, 2026 – NANO Nuclear Energy Inc. (NASDAQ: NNE) (“NANO Nuclear” or “the Company”), a leading advanced nuclear micro modular reactor and technology company focused on developing clean energy solutions, announced continued progress toward the development of the primary helium circulator for its proprietary KRONOS MMR™ Energy System under its engineering collaboration with Howden, a Baker Hughes Business.

The helium circulator is a critical mechanical subsystem within the KRONOS MMR™ Energy System, responsible for circulating helium coolant throughout the reactor to efficiently transfer heat generated within the reactor core. As one of the principal components supporting reactor performance, the circulator plays an essential role in overall plant efficiency, thermal performance, and long-term operational reliability.

Working closely with NANO Nuclear’s reactor engineering team, Howden, a provider of air and gas handling products that is now a part of Baker Hughes after its acquisition of Chart Industries, is leading the engineering design of the helium circulator, applying its expertise from decades of experience in helium turbomachinery and high-temperature gas-cooled reactor technology to develop a solution tailored to the performance requirements of the KRONOS MMR™ Energy System.

The progress from preliminary engineering into the detailed design phase marks an important engineering milestone. Building upon the reactor performance requirements established by NANO Nuclear, Howden has completed key engineering evaluations, developed detailed three-dimensional design models, performed supporting engineering analyses, and conducted formal design reviews with NANO Nuclear’s engineering team. Collectively, these activities establish a mature technical foundation for the helium circulator subsystem and increase confidence in its performance, manufacturability, and integration within the broader KRONOS MMR™ Energy System. NANO Nuclear and Howden are continuing engineering activities, including component qualification, materials and performance testing, continued design optimization, and manufacturing planning.

The initiative also adds a new dimension to GM Klang, a destination long recognised for wholesale trade. The initiative was inspired and encouraged by Ms Chua Yee Ling, Chief Executive Officer of Tourism Selangor, who recognised the potential for a dedicated destination where visitors could discover locally made products while gaining a deeper appreciation of the people, heritage and cultural character of Klang and Selangor.
    Four Elements, One Creative Destination

Port Seni brings together four key elements:

    1. Select Shop
Operated by Api House, the Select Shop is a curated retail space featuring handmade products, artisan works and locally crafted items. It provides local makers and creative entrepreneurs with access to wider audiences while allowing visitors to take home products that reflect the creativity and character of Selangor.

GM Klang General Manager Chloe Tan Siang Hui said the evolution is about adding value to GM Klang’s established business ecosystem rather than moving away from its wholesale identity.

“GM Klang has long been recognised for its strong B2B wholesale foundation. As business landscapes and consumer lifestyles evolve, we are moving towards a B2B2C approach while continuing to strengthen that foundation. Port Seni is part of this direction, bringing art, culture and local creativity into the GM Klang ecosystem while connecting local talent with wider audiences, markets and opportunities,” she said.

  • When AI Helps Shape the Dream Trip, ONYX Hospitality Group Brings More of What You Love to Life

When AI Helps Shape the Dream Trip, ONYX Hospitality Group Brings More of What You Love to Life

With 54% of travellers now confident using AI to plan or book travel, ONYX Hospitality Group highlights the role hospitality plays in turning increasingly personalised travel plans into meaningful real-world experiences.

BANGKOK, THAILAND – Media OutReach Newswire – 3 September 2026 – “Three days and two nights by the sea, easy to reach, with great local food.” Today, a prompt this simple can help shape an entire holiday.

When AI Helps Shape the Dream Trip, ONYX Hospitality Group Brings More of What You Love to Life

Artificial intelligence is rapidly changing how travellers discover destinations and plan their time away. According to Skyscanner’s Travel Trends 2026 report, based on a survey of 22,000 travellers worldwide, 54% are confident using AI to help plan or book their travel.

But while AI can help travellers define their ideal trip in seconds, it cannot create the experience itself.

The memories that ultimately define a journey still happen in the real world: discovering a neighbourhood, tasting something for the first time, connecting with local people, spending uninterrupted time together or simply finding somewhere to slow down.

For ONYX Hospitality Group, this shift towards increasingly personalised travel reflects the thinking behind its consumer promise, More of What You Love – recognising that the perfect trip means something different to every traveller.

Across four distinctive hospitality brands – Amari, OZO, Shama and Oriental Residence – ONYX provides different ways to experience a destination, enabling travellers to turn what they are searching for on screen into experiences that reflect how they actually want to spend their time.

For travellers who want to feel the destination: Amari

For those asking AI to find somewhere rich in local culture, food and experiences, Amari, ONYX Hospitality Group’s upper-upscale brand, offers a deeper connection with place.

Guided by its brand essence, Transforming Every Stay with Local Soul That Lasts, Amari brings destinations to life through Local Flairs, Curated Perspectives, Ari Service, and Soulful Gatherings & Inspired Exchange.

From local flavours and cultural encounters to thoughtful recommendations and warm Thai hospitality, the experience is designed to help guests discover more of the destination while creating memories that remain long after they leave.

For travellers who want to get out and experience more: OZO

With the freedom to explore and enjoy each destination in their own way, travellers can make the most of their time at OZO.

OZO, ONYX Hospitality Group’s lifestyle brand, is designed around comfort, energy and flexibility, creating stays that fit naturally with the different ways people travel. Well-considered rooms support a great night’s sleep, while lively spaces provide places to relax and enjoy activities, and fast and seamless connectivity makes it easy to stay connected.

Because everyone unwinds differently, OZO gives guests the freedom to spend their time in their own way. They can head out to discover something new, enjoy the activities they love or return to the hotel to relax and recharge. Friendly and efficient service makes each stay feel familiar and effortless, helping guests feel at ease throughout their stay.

Whether the plan is a packed weekend of discovery or simply enjoying the destination at an individual pace, OZO makes the hotel an effortless base for experiencing more.

For travellers who want to live like a local: Shama

As AI makes it easier to plan longer and more personalised stays, Shama responds to travellers who want time to settle into a destination rather than simply pass through it.

Guided by The Joy of Living, Shama brings the familiarity and comfort of home to the journey, with spaces designed for guests to live, work and unwind naturally and in their own way. Guests can continue their everyday routines, enjoy the things they love and make time for themselves, while also connecting with the surrounding neighbourhood and community.

Over time, guests can discover the places, people and everyday rhythms around them, making an unfamiliar destination feel more familiar and connected. This makes Shama more than simply a place to stay, but a space to live in the destination and enjoy the journey in their own way.

For travellers who want to slow down: Oriental Residence

For travellers whose ideal prompt includes tranquillity, privacy and space to recharge, Oriental Residence offers a different interpretation of luxury.

Guided by its brand essence, Peace of Mind, and The Art of Intuitive Refinement, Oriental Residence combines residential comfort with thoughtful, discreet hospitality.

Its Invisible Hand service philosophy anticipates guests’ needs without intruding on their personal space, creating a Sanctuary of Restoration where they can pause, recharge and find balance amid the pace of modern life.

From personalised search to personalised experience

AI may be making travel planning faster, smarter and increasingly personalised, but the rise of technology is also encouraging travellers to think more carefully about something fundamentally human: what do I actually want from my time away?

For one traveller, the answer might be discovering a destination through its food and culture. For another, it might mean exploring from morning until night, living like a local for several weeks, or doing very little at all.

That diversity sits at the heart of More of What You Love.

As technology becomes increasingly sophisticated at helping travellers decide where to go, ONYX Hospitality Group is focused on what happens next – creating the places, experiences and human connections that turn the trip imagined on screen into one worth remembering.

Datuk Seri Aliff Syukri leads Shopee’s inaugural contingent, with MadNor as flag bearer, in celebration of national pride and Malaysia’s entrepreneurial spirit

KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA – Media OutReach Newswire – 3 September 2026 – Shopee marked its first participation in Malaysia’s National Day Parade with a contingent celebrating the people helping to move the country forward, from home-grown entrepreneurs and digital creators to the employees supporting Malaysia’s growing digital economy.

Leading the Shopee contingent was Malaysian entrepreneur Datuk Seri Aliff Syukri Kamarzaman, with content creator Muhammad Noor Zakaria, better known as MadNor, as flag bearer. They were joined by 45 Shopee employees from across the business. As the Shopee contingent made its way along the parade route, it was greeted with cheers and applause from spectators, marking a memorable National Day Parade debut for Shopee.

Together, the contingent brought to life the spirit of Shopee Juara Lokal, Shopee’s Merdeka campaign celebrating the determination, resilience and entrepreneurial spirit of Malaysians. Shopee’s first participation in the national parade was both a celebration of national pride and a salute to the local entrepreneurs and communities the platform has grown alongside in Malaysia.

    A Salute to Malaysian Entrepreneurship

At the head of the contingent, Datuk Seri Aliff represented the entrepreneurial spirit at the heart of Shopee Juara Lokal. Founder of health and beauty brand D’Herbs and fondly known to many Malaysians as “Papa Terlajak Laris,” his journey reflects the ambition of local business owners who have built brands from the ground up and continue to find new ways to grow.

“Before this, I was always just watching the parade from the sidelines, so to finally experience it for myself was really something special,” said Datuk Seri Aliff. “People may only see five minutes of the parade, but behind those five minutes are days of rehearsals, early mornings and a lot of teamwork. Once we were in formation, it didn’t matter what your title or background was – we were all Malaysians, celebrating Merdeka together. For me, that’s what made the experience truly meaningful.”

Carrying the Shopee flag was MadNor, a Malaysian content creator known for his humorous, straight-talking advice to Gen Z on spending and everyday money matters. “Being able to represent Shopee at this year’s Merdeka Parade is something I’m really grateful for. I never imagined that my journey into the digital and content space would give me the chance to be part of an event like this,” said MadNor. “Marching alongside my fellow Malaysians in the Shopee contingent felt like I was representing everyone who took a chance on themselves and dared to dream bigger. To me, that’s what Malaysia is about – ordinary people doing extraordinary things.”

For the 45 Shopee employees marching alongside them, the occasion was just as personal. Thines Kumar, described it as “an unforgettable experience” to march alongside colleagues and fellow Malaysians. On the other hand, Delphinie Chan who helped coordinate the contingent – beginning with recruitment, all the way until the rehearsals and the actual day – said seeing everyone’s hard work come together on parade day was “truly inspiring”.

For Zulaikha Zainul, she finally fulfilled a long-held wish to take part in the parade.

“I’ve always wanted to be part of the Merdeka parade. Growing up, I only got to watch it on screen,” said Zulaikha. “Having grown up overseas for part of my life, my friends always teased me for being ‘not Malaysian enough’, so I guess this was my chance to prove them wrong! It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience and a special way to feel the spirit of Merdeka.”

The 45 employees represented the thousands of Malaysians working in Shopee behind the scenes to support buyers, sellers, and the wider e-commerce community.

For Shopee, local entrepreneurs have been an important part of that community. Over the past decade, Shopee has supported Malaysian MSMEs at different stages of their journeys, from businesses taking their first steps online to established home-grown brands reaching customers nationwide and beyond.

    Moving Forward, Together

Nik Emir Nik Din, Head of Public Policy and External Affairs, Shopee Malaysia, said: “Merdeka is a celebration of what Malaysians can build and achieve together, and of the people who will carry our country forward. Seeing an entrepreneur, a creator and our own employees marching together was especially meaningful because, in different ways, they represent the community Shopee has grown alongside in Malaysia.

“Our first National Day Parade was an opportunity to celebrate that community and salute the entrepreneurial spirit we see across the country every day. Behind every home-grown business is someone who took an idea, acted on it and kept building, often through challenges and uncertainty.

“As Malaysia moves forward, we want to continue doing our part by helping more local entrepreneurs strengthen their capabilities, reach more customers and take their ambitions further. Their success contributes not only to the digital economy, but to the communities and livelihoods around them.”

  • Asia’s premier flower hub sets new benchmarks in trading scale and logistics efficiency

Asia’s premier flower hub sets new benchmarks in trading scale and logistics efficiency

YUNNAN, CHINA – Media OutReach Newswire – 3 September 2026 – The Dounan Flower Market in Kunming, southwest China’s Yunnan Province, is strengthening its position as a leading flower trading hub in Asia, with record annual trading volumes, high-speed auction operations and increasingly efficient international logistics.

    image-1.jpeg

The Kunming International Flora Auction Trading Center, a key trading platform within Dounan, begins daily trading at 1:00 p.m. Buyers can complete bids within as little as 0.6 seconds as prices decrease on electronic auction screens, enabling large volumes of fresh-cut flowers to be traded rapidly.

The market experienced a significant increase in trading activity ahead of the Qixi Festival, widely regarded as China’s Valentine’s Day. Tens of millions of flower stems were sold to domestic and international markets during the peak trading period.

According to the Kunming International Flora Auction Trading Center, the average price of major fresh-cut flower categories reached 1.1 to 1.3 yuan per stem during the pre-festival period, approximately 15 percent higher than pre-festival levels. Premium flowers recorded substantially higher prices, with high-quality roses reaching nearly 15 yuan ($2.23) per stem.

In 2025, Dounan recorded a trading volume of 15.476 billion fresh-cut flowers, with total transaction value reaching 13.484 billion yuan (approximately $2 billion).

The market currently hosts 3,300 enterprises and more than 15,000 business entities and individual proprietors. Of Dounan’s approximately 70,000 permanent residents, 46,500 are employed in the flower industry.

Approximately seven out of every 10 fresh-cut flowers sold in China originate from Dounan. Its distribution network now reaches markets across China as well as more than 50 countries and regions worldwide.

    High-Speed Auction System

Dounan’s auction system is designed to accommodate the highly time-sensitive nature of fresh-cut flowers.

“Field-grown ‘Purple Glow’ (75 percent maturity), 140 stems; field-grown ‘Beloved’ (80 percent maturity), 120 stems; ‘Beloved’ (75 percent maturity), 120 stems…” said Li Qian, a flower auctioneer at the Kunming International Flora Auction Trading Center.

The trading center uses a descending-price auction model, with prices continuously decreasing on electronic screens. Buyers must respond within approximately 0.6 seconds, allowing transactions to be completed rapidly and supporting the high turnover required by the fresh-cut flower industry.

“Since fresh flowers are perishable goods, we use a descending-price auction format. This helps facilitate rapid circulation,” Li said.

The auction process is integrated with sorting, packaging and transportation operations, reducing the time between trading and shipment.

    Logistics Network Expands International Reach

Fresh-cut flowers require particularly efficient logistics because their quality is highly sensitive to transportation and storage time.

Tang Minghong, a client manager with the flower logistics division of SF Express Yunnan, said fresh flowers have among the most demanding logistics requirements in the fresh produce sector.

Trading begins in the afternoon, while pickup, packaging and dispatch can be completed as early as 3:00 a.m., allowing flowers to move quickly from auction facilities into domestic distribution networks.

For international shipments, Dounan has established logistics routes to destinations including Singapore, South Korea and Malaysia. Customers in these markets can receive shipments within two days, according to logistics operators.

    Strengthening Yunnan’s Global Flower Trade

The combination of large-scale flower production, centralized trading, high-speed auctions and integrated logistics has enabled Dounan to develop a comprehensive supply and distribution network.

The market connects flower growers in Yunnan with buyers and consumers throughout China and overseas, while supporting the expansion of the province’s fresh-cut flower industry into international markets.

With billions of stems traded annually and distribution covering more than 50 countries and regions, Dounan is emerging as an important regional hub for fresh-cut flower trading and distribution, contributing to the international growth of China’s flower industry.
